Recently, our team successfully delivered a high-standard industrial storage project for a daily necessities warehouse in Dubai. The warehouse features a total area of 450 square meters with an overall clear height of approximately 7.5 meters.
The client initially utilized a traditional welded steel structure equipped with standard wooden deck panels. However, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) maintains exceptionally strict fire safety regulations. Because wooden panels pose significant fire hazards and block overhead sprinkler water penetration, the client's original setup could not pass the local fire safety inspection. Furthermore, permanently welded structures offer zero flexibility, resulting in heavy asset loss if the company relocates in the future.
